ˌChinese ˈleaves [plural] , ˌChinese ˈleaf [uncountable] ) a type of vegetable that is eaten cooked or in salads. There are two types of Chinese cabbage, one with long light-green leaves and thick white stems which is similar to lettuce and one with darker green leaves and thicker white stems.
