ˌRound ˈTable, the
1. the table at which King Arthur and his knights sat, according to old stories. As it was round, all the places at it were equal. The expression ‘round table’ is used to describe a peaceful way of reaching an agreement:
    The treaty was signed following a round table discussion.
2. a charity organization for men under 40, who hold meetings and do work for their local areas. It is related to the Rotary Club, whose members are usually a little older.
