Concerned is usually used when you are talking about a problem that affects another person, society, the world, etc, while worried can be used for this or for more personal matters. * concerned 通常指对影响他人、社会、世界等问题的担忧,而 worried 既可指对这类问题、也可指对个人问题的忧虑。

worried, nervous or anxious? 用 worried、nervous 还是 anxious?

Worried is the most frequent word to describe how you feel when you are thinking about a problem or something bad that might happen. Anxious can describe a stronger feeling and is more formal. Nervous is more often used to describe how you feel before you do something very important such as an exam or an interview, or something unpleasant or difficult. Nervous can describe sb's personality: a very nervous girl is often or usually nervous; a worried girl is worried on a particular occasion or about a particular thing. Worried describes her feelings, not her personality. Anxious may describe feelings or personality. * worried 最常用,表示对某个问题或可能发生的不幸有所担忧。anxious 可指较强烈的担忧和不安,且较正式。nervous 较常用以形容重要事情(如考试、面试)、令人不快或困难的事情发生前的紧张不安、战战兢兢。nervous 亦可指人的性格:a very nervous girl 指性格易紧张不安的女孩,而 a worried girl 指在某个时刻或对某事担忧的女孩。worried 形容感觉而非性格,anxious 既可形容感觉也可形容性格。
